More challenging Bear Mountain and Olympic View courses (both open to the public) are only 30 minutes away.

The mild Mediterranean climate enjoyed by southern Vancouver Island year-round makes our location the perfect choice for a respite from winter’s chills elsewhere. There is an excellent public transportation system within easy walking distance from our home. It is only twenty minutes to the city centre by car or bus and five minutes to two full-service shopping centres. The Victoria region is home to two universities and a community college; the highly esteemed Museum of British Columbia; the gracious Royal Theatre which hosts the Victoria Symphony and Pacific Opera; the newly opened Ocean Discovery Centre; the Victoria Art Gallery and many private art galleries and studios. An exciting multi-purpose recreation complex with public swimming pool, fully equipped gym, health bar and public library branch is located 5 minutes away from us.

Accessing our home through a peaceful, treed atrium and impressive front doors, you enter a bright tiled hallway that opens to the main living area. You are immediately aware of the panoramic views through the large picture windows which draw your eyes over green woods to the ocean, islands and mountains beyond. Inside the tastefully furnished living room, your attention is drawn to the featured natural rock wall with fireplace which leads through a louvered door (for privacy, if required) to an office/den with golden cedar walls, picture windows and another fireplace. The living room is open to a bright dining room, again with full height windows and sliding glass doors opening onto the spacious deck. The adjoining kitchen is modern and fully equipped with attached breakfast area and work station with WiFi for your laptop. In turn, it opens on the comfortable family/TV room with wood burning insert fireplace (firewood supplied) and sliding doors to a paved private patio with barbeque. Stairs from the family room lead down to a laundry room and on to the side entrance from the carport.

A short flight of stairs leads up from the family room to the bedroom level where two large, bright bedrooms with one queen bed and one double which share a fully modern bathroom with large walk-in shower complete with built-in seat and wand. The large, pleasingly decorated master bedroom contains a queen sized bed, seating area, flat screen TV, wall length vanity, full ensuite and spacious walk-in closet with full height mirrored doors. A second short flight of stairs leads you back to the hallway and living area where, once again, you can marvel at the view! You will enjoy living in our beautiful home!!
